Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

A separate and more detailed set of terms (the User Terms of Service) applies if you create a Hungrme account, submit user-generated content, register or claim a business, or use our mobile applications. Those terms prevail over these Terms in the event of any conflict.

The Site is a public marketing and information website that describes the Hungrme food discovery platform and related services. Through the Site you may, among other things:

• browse information about Hungrme and its features;
• join a launch waitlist by submitting your email address;
• view restaurant and food listings we display for information; and
• contact us with questions or partnership enquiries.

Some features described on the Site (such as HungrPoints, payments, and the mobile applications) may not yet be available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

If you join the waitlist, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your email address up to date and for any activity associated with your email address. You may unsubscribe from waitlist communications at any time using the link in any email we send you.

You agree not to:

• use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation, or that infringes the rights of any third party;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems, or data;
• introduce or attempt to introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or any other malicious code;
• interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or the networks on which it is hosted;
• collect or harvest personal data of other users, or scrape, index, or republish content from the Site without our prior written consent;
• use automated means (including robots, spiders, scrapers, or scripts) to access the Site for any purpose without our express permission; or
• use the Site to send unsolicited communications, advertising, or promotional material.

We may suspend or block access to anyone who breaches these rules, and we may report misconduct to the relevant authorities.

The Site displays information about restaurants and food, including menus, prices, ratings, photographs, and opening hours. Some of this information is provided by restaurants themselves, some is submitted by community users, and some is aggregated from third-party sources. We do not warrant that any such information is accurate, complete, or up to date.

• Community-sourced data. Prices and menu items displayed may be contributed by users and may not reflect the official offerings of a restaurant. Always verify prices and menu details directly with the restaurant before relying on them.
• No affiliation. Hungrme is an independent platform. The presence of a restaurant’s name, logo, or listing on the Site does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership unless explicitly stated. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, design, and software, is owned by Hungrme Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Mauritius and international intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

User-generated content (such as photos or reviews), where present, remains the property of the user who submitted it, subject to the licence granted in the User Terms of Service.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, applications, and services (such as app stores, social media, and maps) that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. You use them at your own risk and should review their terms and privacy policies.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Hungrme Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that restaurant and menu information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and that you use it at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on such information, including decisions about where to eat, what to order, or whether a venue meets a dietary requirement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hungrme Ltd and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if we believe you have breached these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties. If no resolution is reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
